GIVING
When you visit STCOC, you may notice that we do not pass an offering plate. The Bible teaches that we should not give under compulsion. "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7). We believe that God blesses those who give, whether as a tithe and regular offering or as a part of a special giving opportunity.
Anyone who wishes to financially support the work of the Lord being carried out by STCOC, may place it in the wooden box located on the table in the back of the auditorium. If you would like to give electronically, you can send money via PayPal, using our email address: southerntiercoc@gmail.com.
HAITI SUPPORT
As a group, we provide monthly monetary support to Gates of Hope Mission International, Inc. You can find more information about this organization on their website or Facebook page. While Gate of Hope does more than just an orphanage, our monthly support is directed to the orphanage.
CUBAN SUPPORT
As a group, we provide monthly monetary support to churches in Cuba. You can click here to learn more about those churches.
