On Saturday, February 9th, STCOC will be hosting a Married Couples Banquet. The evening will be an opportunity to relax with your spouse and receive encouragement, fellowship and have fun, all while learning more about healthy marriages.

The intent is for this evening to be more than "just a date" with your spouse. This evening will be an investment into your marriage. Not only will you be with other believers, but you will be enjoying a catered meal, a message of hope and encouragement, free babysitting, and music, PLUS having the opportunity to win door prizes.

The cost of the banquet is $30 per couple. We will need an R.S.V.P. by Monday, February 4th. (The form at the bottom of the page)

You are welcome to arrange for your own childcare, but there will be free childcare available at the STCOC church building the night of the banquet. Katie Mackay will be in charge of and coordinating a group of volunteers to provide childcare. In addition to watching your kids and keeping them entertained, our group of volunteers will also feed your children.

We are excited to welcome Gary & Barb Short to speak at our banquet this year! Gary is the director of the counseling department at Family Life, based in Bath, NY. In addition to being married for 48 years, Gary and Barb have counseled couples and families for years. They will bring their experience and wisdom to us. For more on their ministry or to see their credentials, click here. In addition to speaking to us, Gary & Barb plan to answer questions submitted the night of the banquet.

The banquet will be held at the QWL Building, on the grounds of the Southport Correctional Facility. The address is 236 Bob Masia Drive, Elmira, NY. The theme for the banquet will be "Marriage is a Journey".
